We're building a simpler way to move
Sawari is a carpooling app for everyday journeys, built in Bengaluru, India, by Terragreen Innovations LLP and Terragreen Tech Innovations Private Limited. Drivers offer empty seats on trips they are already making; riders travelling the same way request a seat, and the driver decides which requests to accept. Sawari is designed for regular commutes — including colleagues travelling to the same workplace — with profiles, verification steps where applicable, trip information and safety tools. Sawari is currently in beta.
The idea
People make the same journeys every day. Home to work, work to the market, back home again. Many of those trips go the same way at the same time, often with empty seats. Sawari is built around those journeys: it helps the people already making them travel together.
